A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), a member of Institute of Chartered Public Accountant (CPA), Mr. Akanbi Muhammed JImoh hold both BSc. and MSc. degrees in Accounting in from Bayero University, Kano and University of Ilorin, Ilorin respectively.

Upon graduation he worked briefly with the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission before joining the services of the University of Ilorin where he was the Faculty Accountant of Education and a Chief Accountant of Budget and Expenditure, presently he is the Faculty Accountant of Arts. Consequent upon the meritorious service he rendered as the Treasurer of Unilorin Union Multipurpose Cooperative Society, he was appointed a Director of Unilorin Microfinance Bank with effect from April 16th, 2019. His wealth of experience has been of a great pivotal effect in uplifting the status of this bank since he came on Board.

He is happily married with children and his hobbies includes reading/travelling.
